In fact our product roadmap is greatly influenced by the regular feedback we receive from having seen companies deploy AVD into production environments several thousand times using Nerdio technology. Today Nerdio is used in over 50 countries by more than 15000 organizations of every size and vertical. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and support which starts with identifying and supporting the best staff possible. We are a fast-moving nimble company looking for individuals who are collaborative empathetic driven and who love to move at the speed of light. If you want to be part of the AVD transformation that Microsoft and Nerdio are leading then we want to speak with you. About the role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to participate in a ground-up design and build of a new platform from a blank codebase with a primary focus on the UI and a secondary assignment on full-stack/backend work in C#. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for an engineer who's great at faithfully implementing a UI/UX designer's vision turning Figma files and Claude-generated design templates into clean production-grade front-end code while also being a capable reliable contributor on the C# services that support the UI. You'll help define a new product from day one and see AI-assisted development particularly with Claude as core to how modern software is built rather than a novelty bolted on afterward. You'll work directly with Claude (via Claude Code the API and related tooling) as a force multiplier across the SDLC scaffolding components from design files writing and reviewing code on both the front end and the C# backend generating tests and accelerating implementation. This role is about precise high-quality execution of designs genuine full-stack contribution and shipping a reliable delightful product fast not people management. What you'll do Implement the platform's UI from Figma files and Claude-generated design templates translating designer intent into clean accurate production-ready components. Partner closely with a UI/UX designer throughout the design-to-code process flagging technical constraints early and proposing feasible alternatives without taking over design decisions. As a secondary assignment design and build the C# services and APIs that support the UI including data model and infrastructure work in that layer. Establish AI-native development workflows using Claude Code and the Claude API to accelerate design-to-code translation C# service development scaffolding refactoring and test coverage. Implement core UI components and the C# services/APIs they depend on with an emphasis on clean abstractions and long-term maintainability on both sides of the stack. Define prompt and context-management patterns (e.g. project-level instructions skills sub-agent workflows) that make AI-assisted development repeatable across the team. Implement front-end and backend monitoring telemetry and diagnostics (performance error tracking UX metrics service health) to improve reliability and operational insight from day one. Drive root-cause analysis and troubleshooting across the full stack from rendering issues down through the C# services as the system evolves. Evaluate and integrate emerging AI developer tooling (agentic coding tools MCP servers LLM-assisted testing) as the ecosystem matures. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React or equivalent). Demonstrated experience implementing pixel-accurate UIs from Figma or similar design tools including component structure responsive layout and design-token/style-guide fidelity. Solid production-level proficiency in C# sufficient to independently own backend services and APIs as a secondary assignment not just read or lightly modify existing code. Working knowledge of full-stack concerns REST/GraphQL API design and basic data modeling. Hands-on experience using Claude ChatGPT Copilot or similar AI coding assistants in a real production workflow not just casual use. Strong debugging troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills across both the browser and backend services. Comfort working in ambiguity with good judgment on implementation trade-offs as design and product direction sharpen. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Claude (or similar AI tools) to generate design templates or scaffold components directly from Figma files. Direct experience with Claude Code the Anthropic API or building custom tools/MCP servers around LLMs. Familiarity with agentic coding patterns context window management prompt/skill design sub-agent orchestration or automated code review pipelines. Experience working within an established design system or component library alongside a dedicated UI/UX designer. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices including AI-assisted testing or code review. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP). What Success Looks Like You turn a Figma file or Claude design template into UI that matches the design intent closely without needing a lot of back-and-forth. You carry real weight on the C# side also service work doesn't sit and wait because it's your secondary assignment. You treat Claude as a genuine engineering partner using it to move faster on both the front end and the backend without sacrificing code quality or design fidelity. You're a strong partner to your designer. You understand design systems well enough to implement them faithfully and push back constructively when something isn't feasible. You reduce operational pain through automation and good engineering not heroics. You leave the codebase better than you found it on both sides of the stack. Benefits and Incentives Competitive Base and Incentive Plan Stock Options Health and Welfare Plans Life and Disability Plans Retirement Plan Unlimited Flexible Paid Time Off including your birthday off! Collaborative Team Culture Benefits for international employees outside the US vary by country. This role comes with a base salary in the $80000 to $100000 a bonus of 5% that can grow to more and stock options. Nerdio is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
