NorthLadder is hiring a full-stack Staff Engineer to help build the next generation of our products multi-seller auction and marketplace experiences from scratch. What you'll do- ◾ Own complex new features end-to-end — React/TypeScript on the front Node.js/TypeScript services and MongoDB behind ◾ Design the full vertical slice component and state architecture API contracts event flows data models ◾ Set the technical bar on greenfield products where no patterns exist yet ◾ Multiply the team — design reviews mentoring and raising the standard across the stack What we're looking for- ◾ 8+ years building production software with real Staff-level depth in both frontend and backend — not strong on one side and passable on the other ◾ Deep React fundamentals state performance accessibility turning design into polished UI ◾ Deep backend fundamentals API design async systems (idempotency retries event ordering) a document DB like MongoDB ◾ Comfortable in production AWS (SQS Lambda ECS/Kubernetes) ◾ Someone who thrives in greenfield ambiguity and builds the first version with no map If building products end-to-end across the whole stack is your idea of a good time we'd love to talk.
