Description | Location: Remote Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire Compensation: 250000- 450000 (of 3 months) Experience Level: Mid-Level About the Role Brand builder is looking for a sharp and dependable QA Engineer to join our fast-paced Engineering and QA team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a remote 3-month contract with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs. You’ll help ensure the quality of our mobile tablet and web-based applications that power cutting-edge hospitality experiences. You’ll work closely with developers product managers and designers to validate complex features across multiple devices and integration points—focusing on manual testing security validation and hardware/POS/PMS system compatibility. Responsibilities Design write and execute comprehensive manual test cases for functional regression and integration testing Conduct end-to-end testing for web mobile and tablet applications as well as PMS/POS-integrated systems Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities in mobile and web experiences Collaborate with the development team on bug triage reproduce issues and validate fixes Document clear and detailed bug reports using JIRA Use Postman for API validation and basic integration testing Support release readiness through UAT testing and final verifications Engage in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning Requirements 4+ years of hands-on manual QA experience across platforms (mobile web tablet) Experience testing hardware POS systems or PMS integrations Working knowledge of JIRA and Postman Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal Ability to thrive in a remote team-based environment Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies Nice-to-Have Previous experience in hospitality tech or guest-facing applications Awareness of .NET and React stack (for testing context—not coding) ISTQB or other QA certification Exposure to CI/CD workflows and modern SDLC practices 📅 Start Date : Immediate 💼 Reporting To : Engineering Manager / QA Lead Team : Cross-functional team including QA Dev and Product 📈 Potential : Opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance |
