As a DevOps Manager you will : Lead an international team of DevOps engineers to develop cutting-edge Cloud solutions for our internal users and top-tier external clients. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering Physics Data Science Operations Research or related field. Alternatively a Bachelor of Science plus Master in Business Administration is acceptable. 8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering DevOps data science IT and/or other relevant engineering domains 5+ years of successful Project Management experience in leading and managing devops/platform teams in a technology-driven company Expert understanding and knowledge of DevOps & SRE practices and Agile methodologies. Solid experience deploying SaaS solutions in multi-cloud (AWS Azure and/or GCP) Competent experience in deploying monitoring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters as well as experience deploying applications to Kubernetes using Helm charts. Experience in large-scale secure and high availability solutions in the AWS Cloud using automation to support deployment scaling monitoring and management (i.e. Terraform etc.) Familiarity with the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines (i.e. GitLab CI ArgoCD etc.) Database experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB MongoDB etc.) Competent knowledge of Python Docker and Git Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams effectively. We are looking for a Data Engineer - Platform You! What This Role Will Do This is a hands-on Platform Infrastructure role that will use their strong infrastructure and deployment automation skills to design develop deploy and maintain testable secure platforms and infrastructure that are easy and efficient to use. The Platform Would Provide The foundation of all critical software is built on. Security products for building the platform for data engineers. Ability to empower our product teams to take ownership of how they deliver software robustly and at scale. Participate in on-call rotations/Pagerduty for platform support. What This Person Will Bring Strong hands-on experience with AWS. Hands on experience with All phases of the software and system development life cycle and agile methodologies. Hands on experience writing production software and automations in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python). Hands on experience building continuous integration(CI) with common tools such as GitHub Actions Circle CI Jenkins and Tekton and experience building continuous deployment(CD) for both software and data architectures and adept with multiple deployment strategies like canary blue-green deployments etc. Hands on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform and Kubernetes Docker or other containerization technologies. Hands on experience with runtime orchestrations like serverless container orchestrations batch and realtime event orchestration etc. Agile development methodologies using the Atlassian suite: Jira Confluence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions and provide technical support and guidance to team members. Stay up to date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.
