About the Role We’re hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of our cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability across our production systems. You’ll be managing and improving our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment using Kubernetes (GKE) ArgoCD Helm Terraform and GitLab CI/CD. This is our primary DevOps position responsible for system uptime monitoring automation and security. You’ll collaborate directly with developers and stakeholders ensuring smooth deployments proactive cost control and clear communication across teams. Responsibilities Own infrastructure uptime reliability and alerting (on-call as needed) Manage and scale Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for performance and cost efficiency Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines integrated with ArgoCD and Helm Define and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Configure and maintain Prometheus / Grafana for monitoring and dashboards Set up GCP billing alerts and budgets to prevent overspending Manage IAM roles permissions and network security within GCP Troubleshoot deployments cluster instability or networking issues Collaborate with developers and leadership to align on DevOps priorities Communicate effectively in English during daily team meetings and stakeholder sessions Present updates progress and reliability metrics to non-technical team members Requirements: 5+ years in DevOps SRE or Cloud Infrastructure roles Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Expert knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) Helm ArgoCD and Terraform Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation Skilled with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus Grafana) Solid understanding of IAM networking and security in GCP Experience setting up cost monitoring and billing alerts Proficient English communication skills — both written and spoken Confident presenting to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams Comfortable being on-call during uptime incidents Available to start immediately Nice to Have Experience with TypeScript / React (able to assist occasionally with Next.js application tasks if needed) Experience with GitOps workflows and progressive rollouts Familiarity with logging stacks (Loki Stackdriver ELK etc.) Previous ownership of uptime SLAs or postmortem reporting Benefits: 100% remote work with flexible hours across Latin America.
