About The Role We’re seeking a QA Analyst with strong experience in ETL and Data Testing to join our data engineering team. In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability accuracy and performance of our Data Lakehouse implementation . This is a hands-on position requiring strong analytical skills attention to detail and a passion for high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and scripts for ETL pipelines data transformations and reporting layers. Perform end-to-end testing including unit integration system regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) for data-centric systems. Validate data pipelines by comparing source and target systems to ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency. Identify document and track defects ensuring they are logged triaged and resolved effectively. Contribute to and execute data quality assurance strategies including automation and performance testing where appropriate. Maintain test documentation and ensure full traceability between business requirements test cases and test results. Collaborate with Data Engineers Analysts and Product Owners in an Agile environment to ensure release quality. Participate in SCRUM ceremonies offering QA insights during sprint planning and retrospectives. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance focused on data systems ETL pipelines or data warehouse/lakehouse environments. Solid experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing. Hands-on experience with ETL testing using tools like Informatica SSIS or Azure Data Factory. Strong knowledge of test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Jira). Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Postman Selenium or PyTest. Familiarity with data modeling data lineage and data profiling concepts. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices in software QA. Excellent problem-solving documentation and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Big Data environments cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) or Lakehouse architectures (Databricks Dremio). Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for test automation. Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI Tableau or Looker for report validation.
