As a critical part of our team you will leverage your expertise to build and optimize feature-rich engines ensuring smooth and high-performance experiences for global audiences. As a Senior Online Engineer you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-performance scalable software platforms. You will design and implement robust infrastructure solutions and create APIs to meet the organization’s data needs. With your in-depth expertise you will work on high-volume transactional systems ensuring they are reliable efficient and capable of handling high load. You will contribute to the development of design specifications collaborate with internal and external teams and mentor less experienced engineers. Your problem-solving skills will be vital in addressing complex challenges and improving technical tools and processes. While working with defined methods you will often make independent decisions and help shape approaches to meet team and project objectives. This role can be based remotely in Sweden Denmark Finland or Norway. What You Will Do Develop and maintain scalable software and APIs. Work on high-volume and high-performance systems ensuring reliability low latency and scalability. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge. Solve complex problems and contribute to technical planning. Participate in strategic project planning and help meet team goals. Required Qualifications & Skills 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development and online engineering. Expertise in high-performance server development and API design. Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities. Proficient in one of the following languages: Golang Rust Zig or C# with a willingness to learn and adopt new languages as needed.
