Role Overview: Help train AI systems by simulating realistic HR workflows tools and decision-making processes. You’ll use your hands-on experience in areas like recruitment payroll onboarding compliance and policy enforcement to create examples of common HR operations. This role is ideal for HR generalists payroll specialists or talent operations professionals. What You'll Do Day-to-Day: Simulate tasks such as processing payroll managing benefits and maintaining employee records. Draft and review job descriptions HR policies and employee handbooks. Replicate onboarding workflows and document lifecycle processes (e.g. from hire to exit). Address common HR scenarios like grievances compliance and performance reviews. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in HR operations generalist roles or talent coordination. Familiarity with HR platforms (e.g. Workday BambooHR Greenhouse ADP). Understanding of employment regulations leave policies and payroll systems. HR certification (e.g. SHRM PHR) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in full-cycle HR: hiring onboarding benefits and performance. Use of HRIS and ATS tools to track manage and report employee data. Exposure to cross-functional HR tasks such as diversity & inclusion compliance or L&D. Perks of Freelancing with Turing: Work on the cutting edge of AI and finance. Offer Details: Hours committed: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. Employment Type: Contract (freelance no medical/paid leave). Duration: 1 month Location : US Evaluation Process : Shortlisting based on qualifications and relevant professional writing work experience. Shortlisted candidates will be sent an automated analytical challenge (approximately 45 minutes) and a writing assessment (approximately 30 minutes).
