TECHNICAL CO-FOUNDER — SWIFTQUOTE AI Build the technology behind the next generation of trades businesses. I'm looking for a Technical Co-Founder to join me in building SwiftQuote AI. We're building something much bigger than a quoting tool. SwiftQuote AI is becoming a revenue operating system for trades businesses — helping plumbers electricians solar installers HVAC businesses and other skilled trades capture leads respond faster quote invoice manage jobs and ultimately get paid. We're starting with plumbing and HVAC in South Africa with a much bigger ambition to expand across Africa and eventually international markets. THE BIG OPPORTUNITY One of our core product priorities is Never Miss a Lead. A trades business can receive enquiries through • Phone calls • WhatsApp • Website forms • Email • Facebook / Instagram • Google • Referrals • Other lead channels We want SwiftQuote to bring those interactions together and make sure opportunities don't disappear because someone missed a call forgot to respond or failed to follow up. The long-term vision is to build an intelligent system that can CAPTURE → QUALIFY → RESPOND → QUOTE → FOLLOW UP → CONVERT → GET PAID That's the company we're building. YOUR ROLE As Technical Co-Founder you'll take major ownership of the technology and engineering direction of SwiftQuote AI. You'll work closely with me to turn the product vision into a scalable technical platform. Your responsibilities will include PRODUCT & ENGINEERING • Building and improving the SwiftQuote platform • Full-stack development • Backend architecture • APIs and integrations • Database architecture • Product infrastructure • Security and reliability • Deployment and cloud infrastructure • Technical roadmap NEVER MISS A LEAD You'll work closely with our AI / automation function to build • Lead capture • Lead management • Customer communication • Follow-up systems • AI-assisted workflows • CRM integrations • WhatsApp / email / telephony integrations • Lead analytics • Conversion tracking The goal isn't simply to create more features. It's to build a technology platform that genuinely helps trades businesses win more work. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR You don't need to know everything. But you should be a serious builder. We're looking for someone with strong experience across areas such as • Full-stack development • Modern web technologies • Backend systems • APIs • Databases • Cloud infrastructure • AI / LLM technologies • Integrations • Product development More importantly you should • Take ownership • Solve problems independently • Think commercially • Move quickly • Care about the product not just the code • Be willing to build from the ground up THIS IS A CO-FOUNDER ROLE This isn't a freelance development position. We're looking for someone who wants to help build the company not simply complete development tickets. There is meaningful equity available for the right person alongside the potential for salary / compensation as the business grows. The exact equity compensation vesting and structure will be discussed privately with suitable candidates. The expectation is that this is a long-term commitment. We're looking for someone who wants to build something over 5–10 years not someone looking to make a quick rand. WE'LL INVEST IN YOU AND THE TECHNOLOGY You won't be expected to build this with limited resources.
