Senior AS400 / IBM i Infrastructure & DR Failover Engineer Company Revolite Location Remote Shift Regular Shift Experience 8–12 Years (Flexible based on expertise) Employment Type Contract / Full-time Job Summary Revolite is seeking an experienced Senior AS400 / IBM i Infrastructure & DR Failover Engineer to support mission-critical banking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AS400 / IBM i administration Disaster Recovery (DR) High Availability (HA) Failover & Failback Automation and Core Banking systems. Hands-on experience with Synon is mandatory. Key Responsibilities Manage and support AS400 / IBM i infrastructure in high-availability production environments. Design implement and maintain failover and failback strategies for IBM i systems. Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) planning readiness execution and validation exercises. Ensure DR environments remain fully operational including replication connectivity access and documentation. Automate failover and failback processes to minimize recovery time and manual intervention. Collaborate with Core Banking and BFSI application teams to ensure business continuity. Monitor infrastructure performance replication health and system availability. Prepare and maintain DR runbooks SOPs operational documentation and compliance records. Support audits regulatory compliance risk assessments and production incident management. Perform root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
