What you’ll do

As Giga Energy's Senior Recruiter for Data Center EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) you will own hiring for the teams that get our data centers designed permitted procured and built. You'll be the connective tissue between our project development construction engineering and procurement leaders and the market of talent that can execute at our pace. This is a full-cycle role writing sharp job descriptions building sourcing strategies for hard-to-find EPC talent running phone screens coordinating interviews and closing candidates. As the recruiter driving hiring for our physical build you'll need deep comfort with construction and infrastructure hiring and the independence to run the process end to end. Where you’ll work This role is ideally based in our San Francisco Long Beach or Houston offices with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays. That said we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role we'll have a conversation about what works.

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruiting for EPC roles Manage all recruiting efforts for critical EPC and construction reqs — from sourcing to interview management to close — with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and candidate advocacy. Build the EPC talent pipeline Build and maintain talent pipelines for project development construction management medium/high-voltage engineering procurement and field construction roles. Source across industry-adjacent talent pools Go beyond job boards — tap general contractors EPC firms and adjacent industries like oil & gas LNG and utility-scale energy to find candidates who can operate at our pace. Manage stakeholders Partner with construction engineering and project development leadership to understand hiring needs develop job descriptions and build recruitment plans specific to the build organization. Be an ambassador for Giga Energy Share the Giga Energy story culture and vision with prospective candidates and build our reputation as a destination for top EPC and infrastructure talent. Own the data Maintain accurate up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse (ATS) and generate regular recruiting reports on pipeline health and hiring velocity. Deliver an awesome candidate experience We move fast here at Giga Energy — you'll manage the end-to-end experience for EPC candidates from application through video screen in-person interviews and offer.

Requirements

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a track record hiring for construction EPC or industrial/infrastructure roles. Startup or ""first-in recruiter"" experience — you have ideally been the first or sole recruiter for a company or worked at a high-growth startup. Practical experience sourcing passive candidates using a variety of strategies and platforms including Boolean and X-ray search. Working knowledge of EPC and construction hiring — you can speak credibly to roles spanning project development engineering procurement and field construction. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software (Greenhouse or similar). Highly self-motivated organized and comfortable operating as the sole recruiter in a fast-paced high-growth environment. Bonus points Prior experience recruiting specifically for data centers power or energy infrastructure. An existing network of construction engineering or procurement talent from EPC firms general contractors or utility-scale energy projects. Experience recruiting across both corporate and field-based hiring simultaneously. How We Work We value people who take ownership raise risks early communicate directly and follow through.
