Job Description

Are you an experienced Clinical Project Manager in the field of clinical trials who’s engaged in addressing the challenges facing the research and development of novel compounds. As a Project Manager within our FSP Group you will provide operational leadership and oversight for assigned FSP (Functional Service Provider) projects to ensure that contracted deliverables are accomplished. You may manage regional trials (moderate complexity) and/or support complex global trials. The essential functions below will describe the FSP PM acting in a primary / lead FSP PM role on a project. When in a supportive role on a global study the essential functions will be delegated by the Global Lead. Provide program-level leadership and operational oversight for assigned FSP collaboration activities to support achievement of contracted deliverables. Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the client at the FSP project level including coordination of routine project communication issue escalation resolution tracking and follow-up on agreed actions. Coordinate cross-functional activities across internal stakeholders FSP team members functional line managers study teams and client stakeholders to ensure aligned execution within contracted deliverables. Support development maintenance and implementation of FSP program-specific processes procedures trackers working guidelines communication pathways and governance materials. Monitor project-level risks issues resource constraints quality trends and operational gaps escalate appropriately and support development of mitigation or corrective action plans. Support financial oversight of assigned FSP project activities including review of scope assumptions resource utilization budget pass-through expenses forecasting inputs and financial risks in collaboration with Finance and FSP leadership. Lead organize and facilitate internal and client-facing operational meetings as necessary including preparation of agendas and minutes follow-up of actions presentation of program updates and escalation of key decisions or risks. Contribute to onboarding training mentoring and coaching of FSP team members as needed including support for role expectations client-specific requirements operational processes and escalation pathways.

Education and Experience

Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in life sciences healthcare clinical research or a related discipline Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical research experience including experience in clinical operations project/program oversight FSP delivery or functional service management or proven competencies for this position and a minimum of 2 years leading a project. Experience managing regional trials (moderate complexity) and/or supportive role in managing complex global trails including within the area of Auto Immune Disease areas Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP applicable regulatory requirements clinical trial conduct and clinical research operational processes. Experience supporting quality oversight metrics review issue escalation risk management or inspection/audit readiness activities. Experience working with clinical trial systems such as EDC eTMF CTMS reporting dashboards trackers or other operational management tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Teams. Other

Skills and Competencies

Required Strong understanding of clinical research operations FSP delivery models and client-service expectations within a CRO or sponsor-facing environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill to effectively interface with clients and internal stakeholders (i.e. functional line managers study teams Finance Talent Acquisition and senior leadership). Strong planning organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive follow-up in a fast-paced environment. Ability to coordinate cross-functional deliverables and promote alignment across teams functions countries and client stakeholders. Strong quality mindset with the ability to monitor metrics identify risks or trends escalate issues appropriately and support practical mitigation or corrective actions. Sound financial and commercial awareness including ability to understand scope resource assumptions budget impact and utilization. Effective escalation management skills including judgment to determine when issues require client internal leadership Finance HR or operational escalation Strong written and verbal communication skills in English including ability to prepare clear program updates meeting materials client communications and action-oriented follow-up.
