Lead Back-end Developer, Fintech Domain

We are looking for a Lead Back-end Developer with a strong background in Fintech to join our team and drive the development of high-quality scalable software solutions. Kindly note that this role supports remote work but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in the development of features and new products Develop solutions according to specified business requirements Define and write up the technical spec including the appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards Demonstrate and present implementation to team leaders/heads/CTO Implement Unit and Integration Tests Ensure software meets all requirements of quality security modifiability extensibility etc Participate in code reviews identifying anti-patterns in the code and refactoring opportunities Take on other duties as deemed necessary by their superior from time to time

Requirements

BSc in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience in Fintech Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture A technical mindset with great attention to detail Understanding of software quality assurance principles Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and service-oriented architecture (SOA) Experience in software development and coding in Python Proficiency in FastAPI RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB Experience in developing microservices and managing containerized applications Some experience building WebSockets Some level of experience with Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform Helm) Proficiency in using version control and continuous integration with tools such as Git and Jenkins Understanding of web security standards and best practices English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Experience with payments Skills in PHP Familiarity with Temporal I/O
