Full Stack .NET Developer (AI Augmented Engineering)

Job Summary

We are seeking a “Full Stack .NET Developer (AI Augmented Engineering)” who embraces modern Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted software engineering practices to support enhance modernize and evolve mission-critical enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate

combines strong full-stack development expertise with practical experience using AI development tools to accelerate coding testing refactoring modernization and delivery. This role supports mature government projects both ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities including change requests bug fixes and enhancements and strategic modernization initiatives involving application refactoring tech upgrades emerging deployment and cloud hosting strategies and legacy platform transformation. This is a REMOTE position candidate must be US citizen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Development & Support Support maintain troubleshoot and enhance secure enterprise web applications throughout the Devsecops lifecycle. Design develop test deploy and maintain full-stack solutions using C .NET Angular SQL Server REST APIs and cloud technologies. Implement change requests bug fixes performance improvements security updates and operational enhancements. Collaborate with business analysts product owners (internal and client reps) UI/UX designers and cybersecurity teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. AI-Assisted Software Engineering Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GenAI.mil MS Copilot Claude Code ChatGPT Cursor or equivalent approved/authorized tool) to improve software delivery speed quality and maintainability. Utilize AI tools to accelerate Code generation Unit and integration test creation Refactoring Documentation Debugging and troubleshooting Code reviews and quality analysis Evaluate and adopt emerging AI-enabled engineering practices to improve team productivity and software quality. Validate review secure and optimize AI-generated code to ensure “100% human in the loop philosophy” production readiness and compliance with engineering standards. Modernization & Continuous Improvement Modernize legacy applications and reduce technical debt across the platform. Migrate ASP.NET Web Forms (ASPX) and AngularJS applications to modern Angular architectures. Support migration efforts from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8+ and future platform versions. Refactor existing business logic into reusable services APIs and modular components. Participate in architecture modernization initiatives involving cloud-native services CI/CD automation content management solutions and scalable application design. Support efforts to externalize static content and leverage cloud-based storage and content delivery technologies such as AWS S3 and CloudFront. Security & DevSecOps Ensure applications align with Zero Trust Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) OWASP and DevSecOps principles. Conduct code reviews vulnerability remediation static code analysis and security assessments. Participate in CI/CD pipeline automation automated testing and secure software delivery practices. Maintain technical documentation and development artifacts in accordance with Agile delivery methodologies. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Must be a US Citizen During onboarding must be able to secure and maintain a favorable background investigation required to perform on government projects Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology Information Systems Computer Engineering or a related field. Min. 3 years of experience developing enterprise applications using C .NET and AI technology stack. Proven full-stack development experience across front-end back-end database and API layers. Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools as part of a daily engineering workflow. Provide code samples. Provide live demonstrations utilizing AI tools to augment software engineering during the interview process Preferred but not required Experience supporting DoD Federal Government or other highly regulated environments.
