| Description | Overview The IT Quality and Testing Professional is responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and performance of software systems and applications through structured testing and quality assurance processes. This role involves planning designing executing and reporting on tests as well as collaborating with development and project teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop maintain and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for applications and systems. Conduct functional regression integration performance and user acceptance testing. Identify document and track software defects using standardized tools and methodologies. Collaborate with developers business analysts and project managers to ensure defects are properly understood prioritized and resolved. Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards. Perform root-cause analysis on recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements. Support test automation initiatives and contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Prepare test reports dashboards and quality metrics to communicate progress and quality status. Ensure compliance with organizational quality assurance policies security standards and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance. Proficiency in testing tools (e.g. JIRA Selenium Postman TestRail etc.). Strong understanding of SDLC STLC Agile and DevOps methodologies.Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages is an advantage.
