Location The senior Full-Stack Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA.This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK Ireland Estonia the Netherlands Sweden and Israel. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal. Who We Are DoiT is a global technology company that works with cloud-driven organizations to leverage the cloud to drive business growth and innovation. We combine data technology and human expertise to ensure our customers operate in a well-architected and scalable state - from planning to production. Delivering DoiT Cloud Intelligence the only solution that integrates advanced technology with human intelligence we help our customers solve complex multicloud problems and drive efficiency. With decades of multicloud experience we have specializations in Kubernetes GenAI CloudOps and more. An award-winning strategic partner of AWS Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure we work alongside more than 4000 customers worldwide. The Opportunity AI is the fastest-growing line on our customers' cloud bills - and the hardest one to see. Model APIs managed inference GPUs and a growing fleet of agentic coding tools each report spend differently and most teams still can't answer the basic questions what are we spending on which workloads for which teams and is it worth it. Our AI cost visibility product part of DoiT Cloud Intelligence exists to answer them. We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer into our R&D team to own this product end-to-end - from the Go services that ingest and model AI spend through the APIs that expose it to the React interfaces where FinOps practitioners and platform engineers make decisions. This is a young product in a category being defined right now. You'll shape how it works not just implement someone else's spec and there is a short line from your work to what customers see. You'll work AI-augmented from day one. We expect you to use AI across your whole workflow - not as an occasional autocomplete - and to have real opinions about where it earns its place and where it doesn't. Responsibilities Owning features end-to-end. This is the core of the role. Take a problem from understanding the customer's pain through design and implementation to release monitoring and iteration. You define what done looks like and you own the outcome - reliability user experience and measurable impact included. Propose the work you think should happen you're not here to wait for a spec. Knowing the product and the domain. Understand how AI spend actually works - token and model pricing inference and GPU economics how usage rolls up to teams and initiatives - and how FinOps practitioners reason about it. You should be able to explain why a feature matters to a customer as clearly as how it's built and bring that judgement into every design decision. Working AI-augmented. Use AI daily across the full span of your work - exploring the codebase and unfamiliar vendor APIs prototyping approaches generating and reviewing code debugging writing tests and producing documentation. Push on what agentic tooling can do for this codebase and bring judgement about where AI raises velocity and where a human still has to hold the quality bar. Full-stack delivery. Design build and scale backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React. Turn large volumes of cost and usage data into interfaces that make the answer obvious - clear fast and trustworthy enough to base financial decisions on. API-first. Build capabilities so they're fully available through APIs not just the UI. Both humans and agents should be able to drive the platform. Raising the bar. As a senior engineer set the standard for the team thoughtful design reviews guard-rails that let customers succeed and engineering practices that let us move fast without breaking trust. Mentor peers and share what you learn. Qualifications 7+ years of professional software engineering experience including multi-tenant SaaS products with a track record of owning features or products end-to-end in production Strong Go for backend services - APIs data processing and the operational realities of running them Strong TypeScript and modern React with a good eye for how data should be presented Comfortable across the stack. You may lean backend or lean frontend but you can own a feature from the data model through to the interface Experience building on public cloud (GCP preferred AWS or Azure) and working proficiency in SQL against an analytical store such as BigQuery Product-oriented thinking - you care as much about why you're building something and whether it works for users as you do about how it's built AI-augmented working style - you already use AI tools across your engineering workflow and can talk concretely about what you've got out of them and where they fell short Strong knowledge of software engineering practices design patterns and architectural principles and the ability to set direction for others Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving market - you can figure out the right problem to solve not just the right solution Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal Self-organized goal-oriented and self-motivated confident thorough and tenacious Bonus Points Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products would be a strong plus. BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrating a portfolio of what you've built in your career so far Are you a Do'er? Be your truest self. Work on your terms. Make a difference. We are home to a global team of incredible talent who work remotely and have the flexibility to have a schedule that balances your work and home life. UI Product Designer About Us Proton is building the AI operating system for wholesale distribution embedded in the workflows that move nearly every physical product on the planet. Distribution is a $9 trillion industry running on software that has been stuck for decades. We unify CRM PIM eCommerce AI and Order & Quote Entry AI into one platform with one data layer and one AI brain so reps spend their time on customer relationships instead of data entry. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. Everyone here is a builder who owns problems end to end and ships AI-native software faster than anyone else in the category. The median Proton customer reports 3x profit return per dollar spent and an extra day of sales per rep per month. Hundreds of distributors run on Proton from family-owned shops to publicly-traded enterprises. We're backed by Felicis Ventures and Battery Ventures. The Role We're hiring a UI Product Designer to own how Proton looks and works. Reporting to the VP of Product you'll ship in a squad with PMs and engineers and you'll be in front of customers constantly watching reps use what you built and bringing back what you can only learn in person. Our product people know their users by name not through a research summary. Those users sit in one screen for eight hours a day and have spent their careers with software they merely tolerate. We want them to have something they'd choose fast modern a pleasure to use. That's the hard version of the job because most of the UI patterns you'd reach for by default were drawn for software that couldn't think. Ours can. Two things make this role different from a standard product design opening You're an AI-native designer not just a Figma operator. Everyone here uses Claude Code and similar agentic tools as a first-class collaborator. We expect concepts prototyped in real code put in front of people and iterated with heavy AI leverage. Prototype before you polish and make the calls AI can't. You set the craft bar. This hire decides how Proton looks and feels. Distribution software is famously grim and we intend to be the exception. You'll own the visual language and the design system across all four products. Location Cambridge MA (hybrid 3 days a week in Harvard Square) or remote in the EU. Level Product Designer through Senior Product Designer. Scope and autonomy change across that range. Compensation $80k – $100k base depending on experience plus bonus equity and full benefits. EU offers are benchmarked to local market. What You'll Do Prototype in code with Claude Code or Cursor to feel an interaction before we commit Own the design system components interactions documentation and the harder part getting every squad to use them. Define what AI looks like here. Nobody has settled patterns yet so you'll decide what it looks like when a rep trusts an agent and when they overrule one. Work inside our agentic scrum model. We don't run two-week sprints cadence follows what a team and its agents can ship and you'll help work out what design looks like in that. Get in front of customers constantly including onsite. Distributors work in warehouses and on sales floors and the best design calls come from standing next to a rep. Requirements Craft that is demonstrably yours. Command of typography layout color hierarchy and iconography with motion when it earns its place. You pull references from well outside software and your work looks like someone made it rather than assembled it. We are explicitly not hiring people who let AI make their taste decisions. AI amplifies taste it doesn't create it. Real end-to-end delivery. Shipped products real users real ownership alongside PM and engineering. Hands-on work not an LLM-generated portfolio. Daily hands-on use of AI in your practice. Claude Code Cursor or equivalent used to ship real work rather than generate comps. You can say concretely how you structure context and check what comes back. A portfolio. Products or features you took from concept to launch where you set the visual language yourself. We're most interested in a workflow you found trapped in a legacy system and reimagined what you kept what you threw out and how you got people to move. Systems thinking. You can author one beautiful screen and write the rules that let others make fifty consistent ones. You are curious enough to understand what's cheap to build and what isn't. Real agile experience and a pull toward customers. You've worked inside traditional scrum and know what those rituals were for. We've replaced it with an agentic scrum and knowing the original is what lets you help rebuild it. You'd also rather be in the room with a user than briefed about them. Big Plus Complex B2B enterprise or ERP-adjacent software with high-frequency users and workflows people can't opt out of. Agentic products and the patterns for trust correction and handoff between a person and an agent. Early-stage SaaS startups. Benefits Competitive salary + company stock options — we want you to feel like an owner. Flexible schedule with high autonomy. Unlimited PTO + 10 company-paid holidays. 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (primary and secondary including adoption and fostering). Annual company-paid offsites. "Fullstack Software Engineer (AI-Native) About Us Proton is building the AI operating system for wholesale distribution embedded in the workflows that move nearly every physical product on the planet. Distribution is a $9 trillion industry and the software that runs it has been stuck in the past for decades — most tools create more work than they eliminate. We unify CRM PIM eCommerce AI and Order & Quote Entry AI into one platform with one data layer and one AI brain so reps spend their time deepening customer relationships not entering data. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. At Proton everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and ships AI-native software faster than anyone else in the category. The median Proton customer reports 3x profit return per dollar spent an extra day of sales per rep per month and “the best ROI of any tech investment in 30 years.” Hundreds of leading distributors — from family-owned shops to publicly-traded enterprises across industrial HVAC electrical — run on Proton. We’re backed by Felicis Ventures (Twitch Shopify Opendoor) and Battery Ventures. If you want to build the systems that shape how trillions of dollars of physical goods move through the economy Proton is the place to do it. The Role We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to ship products end-to-end across our CRM platform for distributors. This is a generalist role any layer of the stack any type of work — frontend backend data integrations — wherever the user impact is. You'll work closely with PMs designers and other engineers to scope build and deploy features that distributors feel directly. Periodically you'll work directly with customers to support onboarding troubleshoot integrations and help distributors get the most out of the platform. You'll be the person who can sit with a customer's IT team understand how their ERP is configured and translate that into something Proton can work with. Expect occasional travel to customer sites a few times a year. Two things make this role different from a standard fullstack opening You're an AI-native operator not a code writer. Every engineer at Proton uses Claude Code (and other agentic dev tools) as a first-class collaborator. We expect features to be designed built reviewed tested and shipped with heavy AI leverage. You should already work this way — guiding agents structuring context validating output and making judgment calls AI can't. You're a generalist by default. We don't silo engineers into ""frontend only"" or ""backend only."" When a feature needs a Vue component a Python handler a Postgres migration an Airflow DAG and an ERP integration you're expected to handle all of it — with AI doing the typing and you doing the thinking. Location Remote Compensation $80k – $100k base salary depending on experience. Includes equity and full benefits. What You'll Do - Own end-to-end delivery of features — from refining tickets to deployment monitoring and iteration. - Operate AI coding agents (Claude Code and similar) at a high level scope work structure context run multiple agents in parallel where it makes sense and ship reviewed production-quality output. - Move fluidly across the stack — TypeScript/Vue on the frontend Python on the backend SQL and data modeling infra touchpoints. Pick up whatever the work needs. - Collaborate in a squad model with PMs designers and engineers participate in 2-week sprints standups refinements retros and code reviews. - Design schemas queries and APIs that hold up at scale — performance reliability and correctness are on you not on the agent. - Contribute to engineering practices better patterns better tooling better ways to use AI across the team. - Spend time with customers onsite a few times a year — distributors operate in warehouses and on sales floors and the best product calls come from being there in person. Requirements - 5+ years as a software engineer with real demonstrable fullstack delivery — production systems real users real ownership. Resume-level hands-on experience not LLM-generated portfolios. - Strong fundamentals. You understand what the code is doing and why. You can read a stack trace reason about a query plan debug a race condition and tell when an agent is wrong. We are explicitly not hiring ""vibe coders"" who depend on AI to compensate for missing fundamentals — AI amplifies seniority it doesn't replace it. - Daily hands-on use of agentic dev tools. Claude Code Cursor agent mode Codex or equivalent — used to ship real features not just autocomplete. You can talk concretely about how you structure prompts manage context parallelize agents and verify their output. - Generalist instinct. You're comfortable jumping between Vue Python SQL infra and integrations. You don't wait for someone else to take the layer you're ""not assigned to."" - Database and systems chops. You design efficient schemas and queries understand indexing and tradeoffs and can reason about distributed-system failure modes. - Startup mindset. Pragmatic fast biased to ship comfortable with ambiguity close to users. - Strong communication. You can explain technical decisions to PMs designers and customers — in writing and in person. - Ownership and judgment. You take features from idea to production and exercise good taste on what to build what to cut and when AI output isn't good enough. Big Plus - Experience building integrations with distribution ERPs (Epicor Eclipse P21 or similar) — ingesting orders products customers pricing reconciling messy real-world data. Bonus if you've done this in a customer-facing or implementation context. - Experience building or integrating with agentic products — MCP servers tool-using agents agent frameworks evals prompt/context engineering at the system level. - Prior experience at an early-stage SaaS startup. Benefits - Competitive salary + company stock options — we want you to feel like an owner. - Flexible schedule with high autonomy. - Unlimited PTO + 10 company-paid holidays. - 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (primary and secondary including adoption and fostering). - Annual company-paid offsites.
