VetsEZ is seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to support enterprise healthcare IT modernization efforts for a federal client. The Linux Administrator will be responsible for managing maintaining and optimizing Linux-based systems in both on-premises and cloud environments. This individual will play a key role in ensuring system reliability performance security and compliance with federal standards. Responsibilities Install configure and maintain Linux operating systems across development test and production environments. Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to ensure availability and reliability. Apply patches upgrades and security hardening in accordance with organizational and federal requirements. Administer user accounts permissions and access controls to ensure system security and compliance. Manage system backups recovery processes and disaster recovery readiness. Support deployment and maintenance of middleware databases and application platforms hosted on Linux. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
