As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will create tests that identify issues with product software and infrastructure in advance of product launch. Responsibilities will include test strategy and plan development test and test data development test execution and automation tracking and reporting of software defects and defect resolution root cause analysis of identified defects and development and maintenance of test and test result documentation. You will support testing activities across the entire software development lifecycle including integration system performance regression user acceptance disaster recovery and end-to-end testing. You will lead efforts to automate testing activities and to integrate test automations into the CI/CD Pipeline tools such as Github Actions Code Fresh etc. and DevSecOps processes. What You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree or additional FOUR (4) years experience in lieu of degree Minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience working in a quality assurance or testing role supporting enterprise computing platforms and system development efforts Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience providing quality assurance and testing support for workloads that deploy on AWS Ability to expertly perform manual & automated testing documentation and recreation and validation of issues or defects reported by the end users Experience planning and tracking tests test results and defects in Jira and ability to proficiently perform application testing using Selenium and the Apache JMeter load testing tool Proven ability to productively work remotely and collaborate mentor help and support other team members as needed to solve complex technical problems Critical thinking and problem-solving skills team player good time-management skills strong interpersonal and communication skills a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the team's success Proven ability to test software products and cloud infrastructure configurations and identifying deficiencies suggest solutions to identified product problems plan create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement oversee continuous improvement projects prepare and present quality assurance and testing reports presentations and information and adhere to deadlines and communicate status and progress An in-depth understanding of the Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles experience.
