The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience a strong understanding of Amazon Webservices (AWS) Jira and X-Ray is a plus. Develop publish and implement test plans for complex multi-tier distributed applications throughout the full lifecycle. Develop manual or automated testing systems using commercial tools scripts and data set. Participates in all aspects of testing including functional regression load and system testing. Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers and/or engineers to ensure the software or hardware development process has an appropriate level of testing. Develops response strategies and processes for high-criticality and security vulnerability related bug notifications. Software QA Tester / Fully remote / 6 months contract / 5 days / Up to MYR7000 Job Title: Software QA Tester Salary : MYR3500 – MYR7000 Working location: allow to work remotely / or in JB / KL office Working day Mon - Fri Working hours 9am to 6pm Key responsibilities Reports to the Lead Quality Assurance Tester Managing executing testing and support tasks in an agile environment Create and design test plan/test cases/scripts & test data Responsible for automating test plan/test cases/scripts Execute manual and automated tests monitoring system and software functionality Ensure services are entirely functional and provide quality assurance for the software products Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes Responsible for assigned operational queries Handle assigned ah-hoc tasks Requirements Qualifications and Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills working with software development teams Experience with Security testing/fuzzing tools Experience with Performance/Stress testing tools and methodologies Experience with Accessibility testing Preferred certifications in ISTQB/CSTP Experience with manual and functional testing Analytical approach to troubleshooting Knowledge in Web & Mobile Application to provide recommendation Knowledge in SQL Postman and Outsystems would be a plus Knowledge in low-code automation platforms (TestSigma/LambdaTest) would be a plus Hand-on experience in Test plan Test cases and/or Test scripts Team player Willingness to learn and share Job Type: Full-time Pay: RM3500.00 - RM7000.00 per month Language: Mandarin (Required) Work Location: Remote
